Financial Update
First I just want to send a shout out to one of our most faithful friends of the blog - Hey Lisa, sorry we have kept you waiting so long! : )
Anyway.... We are now at 30% of our total support needed to go to language school in Costa Rica. We are very excited and look forward to serving in Honduras. Thank you all so very much for your financial support as well as your prayer support! We are thankful that God has blessed us and placed so many amazing people in our lives. Please pray that the Lord will raise up another 130 families to support us monthly at $25.00. The board of FCM requires us to have consistent monthly support to allow us to not only to get to Honduras but to stay in Honduras. God has been so faithful and we thank him every day for His gracious blessings.
In the mean time we are busy with everyday life. Both kids are in middle school and play sports for the school. Kimi runs cross country and Dylan plays soccer. Brian is playing in a basketball league and I am taking a Spanish class. Both Brian and I are getting ready for a triathlon in October ( can you ever really be ready for one of those?? I guess I can if I put the candy down!)
We are currently planning the 3rd Annual Forgotten Children Ministries Golf Tournament. We are excited to see the support that this tournament has had over the last several years. The tournament is scheduled for Friday, October 10, 2008 at The Divide Golf Course. If you are interested or have any questions regarding playing or sponsorship please email us at sfoster120@yahoo.com. 100% of the profits of this tournament goes directly to Forgotten Children Ministries to benefit the abandoned street children in Honduras.
If you know of any churches or Sunday school classes that would be interested in hearing about FCM please let us know.
Again thank you all for your love, prayers and support!
God bless,
Brian and Steph
