We wanted to update everyone on the journey God has called us to. I was able to spend six days in Honduras the end of August helping move our little boys into their new home. Every time God allows us to go down, He puts a burden on our hearts to be in Honduras. It is hard to be patient as we wait on God's perfect timing. We know that as we wait on the Lord, He is preparing our family for the next chapter in our journey. The new home/shelter is a lot bigger and it will allow FCM to meet the growing needs of the boys. It is housing the school, bedrooms and mission teams under one roof with space to spare. It is a tremendous blessing to have the new place and we praise God for His goodness.
As many of you have seen on the news, Honduras has some political tension. Please be in prayer for our FCM missionary friends, Richie and Lori Womack as they are under a constant curfew. Please pray for the FCM staff and the ministry as a whole. Our God is the one who moves he hearts of men and we are able to say with confidence He is in control. We just ask our Father to protect our brothers and sisters in Christ.
I also would humbly ask that you would be in prayer for our home. It is on the market and we are waiting for God to sell it. If he allows it to sell before January 1st, then we will be headed to language school in Costa Rica for the winter trimester. If it does not sell before January 1st, we will not be able to go to school until next August. I thank God for all of you and your willingness to pray for our family and FCM.
God bless you!
